This will be a short post as I'm trying to see my screen through tears of joy. 14-13 BYU! The exact opposite of how I thought they'd win. Who knew a defensive battle would take place? I cannot see how the BcS can argue against the MWC, anymore. The team up north beat Alabama last season and now the Cougs open up with a win over BCS darling, Oklahoma.
All without starting running back Harvey Unga.
Eff the Man.
Yeah eff 'im. That was one of the only incredibly fun times I have had watching a foozball match. Thank you for having me to your lovely home. I do know a little about the BCS controversy, just coming out of the ward secretarial post, and enjoying some long winded conversations with clerks, and councelors. So I can follow. Hurray.
ReplyDeleteI really don't feel like I have a right to ask anything more out of life...I have witnessed the most awesomest football game that has ever happened anywhere, ever.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention losing the defensive captain early in the game (Bauman), and a slew of o-line injuries. We were on our third stringers in some positions, who would have thought the cougars were deeper than the sooners? We had way more protection for our QB than oklahoma did (sorry about the smashing, sam), and our defense (our defense) was amazing! BYU was the better team, up and down. And sideways.
ReplyDeleteGo cougars.
Yeah, I had fun watching that game too. Except it was even more exciting because my wife was giving birth at the exact time. The fourth quarter was especially mingled with lots of counting, pushing and huffing and puffing. It was one of the greatest days of my life.
ReplyDeleteBLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!
